In contrast to diabetes, for example, there is still no direct measurement method that can be used to detect an incipient cortisone deficiency. External Warning signs are e.g.
pale lips
pale face
Lack of concentration
Dropouts
Dizziness
If you notice these points about me, PLEASE TELL ME!
If I don't get my tablets myself, your initiative is required - don't worry:
In an acute/emergency situation there is NO TOO MUCH in the dosage of hydrocortisone
At home: Tablet box
At home, the tablet box is usually at the front of the kitchen worktop.
IMPORTANT: the oblong diabetes tablets SIOFOR in the red chamber on the right must NOT be used under any circumstances
The two left-hand green chambers are favoured with
whole 10 mg hydrocortisone tablets
half / quarter 10 mg tablets
to use.
If I don't pick up the tablets of my own accord and take them, it's already an acute shortage before.
Then please administer a 10 mg tablet with liquid or, if this does not work/misses, place a 10 mg tablet under the tongue.
I don't have the emergency kit with me or it cannot be found, so there should be at least somewhere in my pockets a strip with Hydrocortisone (10 mg) tablets.
